Steal Her Style: Sarah Vickers

With fashion being the primary focus of my blog, it is crucial that I constantly come up with new outfit ideas and posts. When in doubt I look to some fellow fashion bloggers that I would consider have a similar style to mine. Sarah Vickers (Classy Girls Wear Pearls) is one of them. This style guru for every classy, coastal girl is practically a reincarnation of Jackie O. Sarah embodies everything elegant and fashionable and I mean talk about life goals! Her and her husband, Kiel (KJP), are known for documenting their awesome, New England adventures on Instagram! Since Sarah has been named one of the most influential bloggers of 2016, I thought it would be fitting to share some of my tips, based on what I have observed from her Instagram and blog, on how to "Steal Her Style"! PS: The romper I am wearing in the picture above was worn by Sarah here and I was shocked to find it at Nordstrom Rack for a great price!

Pearls, pearls, and more pearls:

I mean, it's in the title of her blog and pretty much a no-brainer for any timeless look. I wear my pearl earrings almost everyday. I also love this pearl bracelet from KJP which adds the perfect sophisticated touch to any outfit!

For great vintage pieces, try thrifting:

I love Lilly Pulitzer as much as the next girl, but finding a vintage shift at a consignment shop is my go-to way to shop Lilly! I also have found some great Lacoste pieces on Ebay. It's no secret that Sarah and Kiel have major sweater game. I look to Ebay or consignment stores for fun, Intarsia or Nordic sweaters.

Mix styles:

Sarah can completely pull off ripped jeans and a button down to create a preppy look with a twist. She also adds a pair of heels to incorporate a girly touch!

It's all in the details:

Simple things like a perfectly placed bow, pretty lace trim, or even an adorable statement bag should accentuate and compliment your outfit. Sarah accessorizes perfectly! However, it's important to note that there is a fine line between coordinating your accessories and excessive matching!

If all else fails, stick to the basics:

Stripes, gingham, a simple button down, chino shorts, a blazer, etc! Some of my favorite shops for basics are J Crew, Gap, Banana Republic, and many more! Essentials like these will help you create the classy girl look!
