Every Fashion Girl is Wearing These Sneakers

It seems that influencers have traded in their dad sneakers for this classic, nostalgic sneaker (linked here). At around $50 you too could be rocking a pair of the now super popular black high top converse. Recently this is the only shoe I have seen on my Instagram feed and I am so here for this trend. Kaia Gerber is among the many donning this sneaker trend and the reason I purchased this practical pair of sneakers in the first place (she seems to somehow style them perfectly every time so I just had to include two pictures of her). 

The Midi Skirt

Midi skirts (particularly animal print ones) have been all the rage for fashion girls this season. After seeing them all over Instagram, I became obsessed with finding a midi skirt that wasn't as pricey as all of the ones that were taking over my feed. After scouring every fast fashion website I could think of, I finally found this one on H&M (linked HERE...it's less than $30). This one from H&M is the perfect length and material.

One Sweater Three Ways

My favorite purchase from the Zara sale this year (and probably my favorite purchase ever) has been this black, mohair sweater. At $35 (it had originally been $100) it was a steal. It quickly became my go-to sweater and I found myself reaching for it nearly every day. Never had I found a sweater that had the perfect neckline, was cropped just the right amount, and was still comfortable until I found this one. I'm telling you, this is the only sweater you'll need this season (and probably ever). Shoes-day Tuesday- January

Happy Tuesday. Today decided to try a new series on FASH BY ASH called Shoes-day Tuesday in which I will spotlight a shoe trend. I'm pretty sure that this will be a monthly segment so I am super excited to incorporate this into my blog. I usually overlook shoes on my blog and Instagram, so this is new and exciting content for me! I think the heel of the season right now is the kitten heel. Kitten heels are back and better than ever. Kitten heels have even made an appearance in boots. This retro shoe was revived on the runway and has been seen everywhere since. They are super practical and comfy yet incredibly posh and stylish. Revamping the Denim Jacket

I'm a big fan of denim jackets. BIG fan. I have at least four in my wardrobe currently that I rotate weekly. I'm always on the lookout for new trends in denim jackets as an excuse to get my hands on another one. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of patch denim jackets. They make such a cute statement, but I found it difficult to find one that I really loved. So, I set out to make my own patch denim jacket. I picked out a couple of cute patches from Hobby Lobby and picked up a raw hem denim jacket from Forever 21. I am so happy with the results knowing that I created the jacket!
